The Okanagan Symphony.... The third largest professional Symphony Orchestra in British Columbia and the largest arts organization in the interior of the province .........the Pride of the Okanagan Valley! Our Mission... To connect the passion of classical music to our community and fulfill our public mandate to educate, entertain and reach out to all generations. The Okanagan Symphony presents an annual concert series of classical performances in three Okanagan cities: Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton. Concerts are performed by a core of local professionals augmented by extra musicians as needed, and profiling Canadian youth, works and composers. OSO musicians also present an Educational Series of School Concerts for Children, workshops with various community groups,and work with regional school music specialists.
