  • Okanagan Arts The Cultural District is where Kelowna comes to life!

The District is a 6 block cultural core within downtown Kelowna. The Cultural District boundaries are from Okanagan Lake east to Ellis Street, and from Queensway Avenue north to Clement Avenue.

Within the District you'll find Kelowna's 4 major civic arts groups:

    - Kelowna Art Gallery
    - Kelowna Community Theatre
    - Kelowna Museums - all four
    - Rotary Centre for the Arts

As well as 18 pieces of Public Art, Waterfront and Stuart Parks, Kasugai Garden and Rotary Marsh, City Hall and the Law Courts, and Prospera Place - a 6000 seat venue for concerts, trade shows and WHL Rockets hockey.

There are 5 Art Galleries, two Theatres, four Museums, and a VQA Wine Shop. The Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre, with attached Casino is a major tourist destination within the District, as well as the many sophisticated boutiqes and restaurants.

It all adds up to year round entertainment and spectacular Okanagan landscape, all within an easy walk of each other.

We encourage you to walk through the District using our

    - Self Guided Walking Tour brochure
    - and Public Art guide

which can be found in the 4 downtown Kiosks, Tourism Kelowna Information Centres, the Kelowna International Airport and most Kelowna hotels.

Check out our website to discover up to date information on all events: music, dance, museums, galleries and festivals happening in Kelowna Cultural District.
