OC Culinary Arts Your food and wine destination This one year program will provide the skills needed to start an exciting career as a professional chef. Based in the training kitchens at the Kelowna campus of Okanagan College, students will gain valuable experience as they prepare foods for the campus coffee shop, cafeteria and restaurant.Our well equiped facility on the KLO Campus is home to all our culinary programs and at the centre of the thriving tourism and hospitality industry of the Okanagan Valley. Career Opportunities: Apprenticeships in winery, golf club or resort kitchens. Graduates may work in high volume commercial restaurants, care homes, hospitals, catering companies and fire, forestry, and mining camps. This program ahs produced celebrity chefs and cooks like the Television cook Sureal Cook.
